We use amber glass for our cosmetic products because of its superior protection against UV light. Amber glass absorbs a wide range of light waves, preventing the degradation of cosmetics, through a process referred to as photochemistry, which can reduce shelf life and potentially create harmful substances.
Amber glass is easy to recycle and can be made from previously-recycled materials. Amber glass is one of the most eco-friendly options because it contains virgin materials (sand and ash). It can be recycled numerous times without any changes.
Amber glass is 40% less polluting than plastic when it is recycled with fewer resources and energy needed to do so. It can also be reused, making it a sustainable and smart choice for the environment.
